Source: Iran fails to present terms of oil cooperation deals

MOSCOW, Mar 27 (PRIME) – Iran has offered no conditions of new oil contracts to Russian companies and general issues were discussed at a meeting in Moscow, a participant of the meeting told PRIME on Monday on a condition of anonymity.

The Monday meeting participant said, “Everything was like at the last meeting in Iran, it is becoming funny. They have not presented detailed conditions of contracts, anything which can be discussed in a detailed way. General things were discussed, no particular issues.”

A previous presentation of Iranian project opportunities was made in November 2016; a source who participated in that event said that the contract conditions were to be announced in late March 2017.

The source said that it is unclear when the contract conditions are presented.

Iran, planning to relaunch oil cooperation with other countries after abolishment of sanctions, is working on oil contracts called Iran Petroleum Contract (IPC).
